Great light bulb. The Flashpoint brand is a quality CFL Bulb. I've tried other brands of lights and they are not as good as Flashpoint. I use the bulbs in a five light fixture and they fit very well. I also have the 85 watt bulbs which are great too. Buy them you'll like them.

The light bulbs are FANTASTIC! I expected something half the size and when I turned it on I realized that it gives off great light. I am an artist and appreciate light and the many colors it comes in. This is bright and cool. PERFECT.

These light bulbs are great and very bright.The specs need to be changed.Instead of 7.5 inches,they are in between 10 and 10.25 inches.Also they are much brighter than 1000 lumens.If I had to guess,they give at least 3000 lumens,closer to 3500,and possibly more.This bulb has 65 watts,instead of 60 on both that I bought.However,I am happy with the purchase,since I like a lot of light.I did need to buy 2 plastic extension sockets that were almost 1" long,to fit them in my desk lamp,but I would recommend these light bulbs.

These work great with a high level of light by using only 60 watts. The reason for a rating of 4 instead of 5 is they only last about a year. This may not be a fair criticism from me. Since i used them for plants I often run them 24/7.

I got eight years of use from my previous Flashpoint bulbs, so choosing Flashpoint was a "no-brainer". The newer bulbs are slightly larger and put out more light. That's a plus for me.

Very bright lights The best part is they do not get as hot as I expected. They make my pictures turn out a lot better than they did with standard bulbs. I would buy again.

I have used cfl lights for 5 years. my other supplier gave me a batch of lights that blew in 100 to 200 hours. thats bad. so far so good on these lights from adorama. if i get the 8000 hours i will be super happy. i will review again in about 2 years. i may have a new supplier for this class of lighting. sincerely \ \don schwarz
