Great stand! Very clean up and down risers. And holds a good amount of weight. I would recommend this to a lot of people , from me coming from a grip background.

I had been using some cheaper Impact Heavy Duty stands for a while as I did not want to pay $250+ for something like a Matthews stand, but as I have gotten some bigger video lights and diffusion screens I have needed something I bit sturdier. I picked these up with low exceptions for the cost but figuring they would be "good enough" for my need. Holly Molly was I blown away. These feel on par with Matthews and American Grip at 1/3 the cost! They feel very high quality and well made unlike some of the cheap China C-stands I have used at a similar price point. I have 3 and use them for large video lights, photo strobes, diffusion, ect. They are a bit heavy to haul on location as a solo operator, but are perfect when I need something heavy duty. They are worth every penny!!

Just received two of these and I'm looking forward to putting them to use. I like that they're solid and heavy-duty and not light or flimsy. Feels like a good deal and solid value, as long as they hold up without malfunctioning or rusting.

This stand was on sale for $99 so I thought I would get one and compare it to the more expensive Matthews Hollywood Beefy Baby Stand. Kind've blown away by the quality and similarities. Weight is about the same. The Flashpoint has 3 risers vs 2 on the Matthews. I haven't used it on a shoot yet, but for $178 less, first impression is that it's a great deal. Will add a few more to the lighting kit.

I ordered two of these 9.9' stands while they were on sale for $99. At the time, Adorama didn't have a single review of them on their website but I was willing to take a chance and I have no regrets about doing so. The stands came wrapped really well and are in perfect working order. Their build quality is more than satisfactory and if you're coming from basic aluminum stands like those that come with entry level light kits, I think you're going to be more than impressed with how robust these are in comparison. They are built strong like a C-Stand, but have tripod legs with a very wide footprint as well as a Rocky Mountain leg for uneven terrain. They may not be a Matthews or American Grip, but they are more than adequate if you're okay with not buying what is held as the best of the best and honestly, should last you a lifetime with proper attention and care. I wouldn't hesitate to buy ten more if I needed them. These are perfect for the Amatuer shooter working their work up the ladder. I've been fairly impressed.
