Perfect for the AD400. It's a benefit to not have to change the mounting bracket to use this product. I've been using them every chance I get.

I bought this about 8 months ago and it just sat in my closet. never used. finally used it yesterday and it is amazing. I will be taking it to most of my outdoor shoots from now on. I'll upload some sample images in a few days when I have them edited. For around $20 you can't beat it. I bought the Magmod XL thinking it would do what this does but it was like $200 and from using it once, I feel like I like it way more.

Does the job as intended. I use it in events when the strobe is a little farther away from the action.

Used it on my 400 Pro where I needed to throw light a ways (to photograph swimming). It does what it's supposed to. It's a pretty hard light, so applications for it are specific. Like others have said, a grid for it would be nice...but I bought this knowing it did not have that option.

So glad Flashpoint made these because the built in AD400 reflector has an incredibly wide spread (110 degrees I believe). This allows me to focus the light and increase the output by a full stop. It also has excellent fall off. I highly recommend getting one, or a few.
