I'm a professional photographer of 44 years. I needed a flash system that would replace my Metz 60 CT4's, since you can't get the batteries any longer. I've been using the Flashpoint 320 and 620 M series for school portrait photography indoors but needed a better light for outdoor portraits. I just completed two schools using the Flashpoint batteries with the 320m mono lights. I averaged about 350 photos at approx. half power, 200 ISO, shooting at F5.6 with a Flashpoint softbox. No problem at all. I could of have shot more images, great batteries! Bang for your buck, awesome lights and batteries.

I purchased this battery pack with strobe in March of 2017. I have used it less than six times and have tried to charge occasionally when stored. Now two years later it doesn't work at all or take a charge. I would suggest a different set up. I have other self contained studio lights that I have purchased from adorama that have great long lasting batteries and keep firing. When the battery pack was functioning it worked fairly well. Still not as good as other similar units.

I can’t say enough good things about this battery pack for my Flashpoint mono light. I used it for some outside graduation pictures and it had a much better recycle time than I expected. It kept up with no problems. The only thing I think they should do is update the carrying case so that the cable can be stored with the battery. For now, the cable goes with my other cables. Great buy from Adorama.

Nice kit the only issue I have is that the case/bag that the battery comes in dose not secure the battery at all. Pay attention to this because it will flip out of the bag.

I bought this because there are times when I need more power than a speedlite can produce. It's great, will last through a typical family session with power to spare, and doesn't weigh too much. My only complaint is that I wish it had a simple lightstand clamp.

How do you tell when the battery is fully charged? Charged them up as soon as they arrived (2 on the 320Ms). One ran out of power fairly quickly. No manual was in the package.

I like the fact that this barrery pack does not weigh a ton and i can take it on location portrait shoots and make the subject stand out better that if I had just used a reflector.

Hefty battery and I'm glad it came with a nice carrying case. I bought this with the strobe as a kit which honestly is the best deal if you need to be portable. I haven't used it to full life yet with my 1220m Flashpoint but from other reviewers it's got decent life. Pack it up and go charge it up after you're done!

Love the freedom it offers, easy to connect. I've been waiting for a long time to be able to use my monolights for outdoor portraits. Bummer: Had this in my shopping cart when on sale for ($) When I was ready to pull the trigger, the price went back to ($) Super Bummer: Unit shipped with a different, much cheaper case than pictures. Basically a black nylon case with a very cheap snap. Why skimp on that part? Could have been a 5 star...

It worked when I first tested the pack and after that it went downhill. Thinking I may have received a bad battery so I put it aside for a long time. It doesn't charge at all and hoping to get a replacement or at least get one at a discount. Will be contacting the store this week since the 1yr warranty is still good. Wish me luck as I think this is/could be a great product for my monolight.

I used this several times both indoors and out and it works great. Just charge it 24 hours before use and you will be fine

Unit charges fairly quickly and works well. It seems a bit bulky for as small as the actual battery part is, but it's fine. There aren't my primary strobes, so I don't need anything very elaborate.
