I really have no idea how I broke my dome other than I tend to be a little rough on my gear. That said, this was a perfect 1 for 1 replacement.
The Flashpoint XPLOR 300 Pro Replacement Glass Dome protects the delicateflashtube and evenly distributes the light without affecting the intensity or color temperature. Vent holes prevent the heat of the strobe from building up during shoots and extend the life of the tube.
This dome fits firmly into place over the flashtube assembly with two grip arms on the perimeter of the head base.
Keep one around for a rainy day, a mishap, or when your assistant has had a fit.
