The Fotopro ArtPod is the best alternative for mirrorless systems that I could find to the higher priced Really Right Stuff (RRS) TFA-01 Ultra Pocket Pod with BH-25 Pro Ball Head. It is beautifully designed and exceptionally well executed. All the parts are metal and function smoothly. It is rated at 4.4 lb capacity but feels capable of handling much more. I have an Olympus Pen-F with a Really Right Stuff (RRS) L-Bracket with grip - this table-top tripod fits perfectly with the needs of mirrorless systems like mine at a substantial cost savings. Unless you really need something that can handle more weight, I do not think that even RRS owners would be disappointed with this product. I had initially purchased the Leofoto MT-02 another fine product but the ergonomics with its side latches just did not feel right to me and while looking for a small ball head to fit it I came across this ArtPod kit that had everything included so I returned the Leofoto MT-02. I should note however, that unlike the Leofoto and the RRS Ultra which have 3-angle stops, the art-pod has only two - which is not a problem for me. FYI: The small ball head on the ArtPod (unlike some other kits) is removable and should work great on a monopod. The ArtPod is handsomely packaged and would make a great gift - it comes with a leather holster with carabiner - now the holster, while leather, is very thin which may not be a bad thing as with use it should conform nicely to the shape of the ArtPod while saving weight. All-in-all I am very satisfied with the FotoPro ArtPod and enthusiastically recommend it.

Nice tabletop tripod at a great price. Stable for small mirrorless cameras. Easy to carry.
