Great fun for the whole family

I've owned a few variants of these Fujifilm cameras. This one is by far the best. While it IS huge, it takes a HUGE picture. Each to use, nice lens. Film isn't too expensive.

Cheap alternative

This is a cheap, stable alternative to the impossible projects take on Polaroid.

Worthy of the price

The menu system doesn't remember your previous settings and gets annoying to have to repress each setting every time you switch on the camera. The photos looks great nonetheless and is perfect for everyday photos.

Fun Toy

I'm a toy camera junkie, so this was a great add. It's a fun, lo-fi camera to have in the collection. It takes about a whole 10 exposure cartridge of film to get used to the settings and results. I've also found that whether or not you have the flash enabled, the camera has a mind of it's own and it's basically auto-flash. The body is very large, but that's just the nature of using instant film. Not a lot of control/options, but if you're considering this camera, then technical precision is probably not a priority anyway. It's just fun to play with and get a cool, retro look for an artistic effect.

New Favorite Camera

This camera is amazing! I was not expecting it to produce images that are the quality of polaroids because I also have the Fujifilm 7s (which doesn't seem to have the same quality of pictures) but the images are really great with the 210! I take pictures of places and also people and it has been great for both. Im not a professional or anything so I didn't mind that there is basically no zoom. That said, the close up lens is really cool in the right lighting and at the right distance (about arms length away from you), it helps make crisp pictures. I was worried that the camera would be bad in low light. It definitely takes its best pictures at mid-day or before sundown, because once the sun is gone, things get difficult and the quality of the images goes down. Ive found that for taking pictures of people, there needs to be a lot of sunlight. But if i am taking pictures of a landscape or building or anything like that, the light doesn't need to be as direct and I can even take pictures an hour after the sun has gone down without much disappointment. It is great for a certain type of picture with the right lighting - indoor or outdoor. I also love the size of these pictures and the film is fairly cheap! Great camera overall.

Great for scrapbooking!

I bought the camaera for my daughter-in-law. She is an avid scrapbooker and wanted this camera specifically for that purpose. She loves it!

Photos NOW!

I was a bit skeptical when buying this camera; it seems with the demise of Polaroid that the world had lost all it's great engineers who know how to make a great instant film and camera. Living in Japan I saw the Instax cameras everywhere but never really had any desire to try any out. When I tried to buy film for an old Polaroid camera I have I found that the film was out of production, or being produced by the Impossible Project; both meant buying expensive film. The Fujifilm 210 is so inexpensive that it would pay for itself after only a few dozen photos due to the relatively cheap and available Instax Wide film. One big difference I'd like to note, however: it takes some getting use to the rectangular format for composition if you're use to the old Polaroid square format.
