Worked well with the fuji xt100. It took a little bit of effort but does the job for a beginner.

as a teacher of the arts, outdoor education and organic bee keeping i have been looking for a small, but versatile camera with good filming capacity, which I found in the fuji x 20.While making documentary and instructional videos i found the build in mic rather weak in outdoor situations. The Mic ST1 changed this immediatly.Even under windy conditions i can film and get clear sound at distances up to 25 feet for instructional bee keeping videos.live music and lectures are being recorded well beyond that distance with clean, crisp sound quality and plenty of playback volume reserve. this package x20/mic st1 just opened very excititing new venues for my professional work. the mike is readily installed and,due to it's compact size, very easily brought along with an extra battery for the camera, without lugging around a large camera accessory. no complaints for any of my applications.
