This is SUCH a perfect day to day lens. I use my x-t5 for professional work, but wanted a smaller lens to be able to travel with and use for street photography. This is so sharp and clear, I love it.

I absolutely love this lens! 16 mm is a new focal length for me, and it's so fun to be able to carry this little thing around and explore all the creative possibilities. The weather resistance gives me good peace of mind, and I couldn't care less that the biggest aperture is "only" 2.8! That's worked plenty well for me, even in the lower light of an evening city walk. Don't hesitate to buy this lens!

This lens is as good as my full frame 24 on the Canon. Plus, it's much smaller and lighter. Being a small lens on a smaller camera system also means smaller filters, so it fits in the bag and I barely notice its addition.

This lens results in beautiful, sharp photos, as is to be expected from this Fujifilm XF lens. I gave it four stars instead of five because the mounting an dismounting of the lens on my X-T30 body is much tighter than the other three Fujinon lenses I have. It actually takes a good amount of force to have the lens snap into place as well as when taking the lens off. I?ve gotten somewhat used to that but it?s still disconcerting compared with the easy and fluidity of the mounting of the other lenses I own.

This Lens has been great. While I am more of a 35mm and 50mm 135 equivalent focal length shooter, I have found that on trip to museum or just out and about in with family, it is a lot easier to go wider with this for environmental shots. In the world where everyone focus on bokeh and blurry background... I actually want to show where we have been and be able to see the background. This is a great companion with my XE4 as it is light and small and for my purpose, it focuses fast enough and sharp enough.

I really enjoy using this lens! The build is solid (all metal, no plastic) and I love having the aperture ring on the lens. And the image quality is sharp.

Great lens for the XT-3 and XT-4. I find myself shooting with this lens often as it does give you a nice soft look on scene shots. My only complaint is that I wish it was 2.0 vs 2.8.

pretty good lens, sharp and quick autofocus, in the downside f/2.8 it's not the fast aperture, sometimes you should up the ISO.

Great lens! Was debating between this and the 1.4 version, but glad I went with this. The size alone makes it worth losing a couple stops of light. Great lens for hiking and walking around. Plus, can't beat getting all the extras.

It’s sooo tiny. 16mm is a useful FOV when I go hiking or generally shooting around. I like shooting wide. This has quickly become the lens that lives on my camera. At closest focus, needs to be stopped down to f/4 to keep things sharp.

Awaited this lens with fear and doubts. Arrived on the first day after release, of course in excellent condition. Mounted it immediately and waited a chance to try it out. Feels great and looks great on my Xpro-2. Set it on A, took it out for a spin. Now realize, I was walking a strong 75lb pulling dog who demanded his walk space, it was an overcast day, wasn’t looking for 2.8 test, first day, had no problems. Next day better lighting conditions, I was really excited about the days walk and shoot. Had a great location to shoot, but really bad results.. Wasn’t until later I realized I had set the camera to manual and not adjusted for the conditions. My bad, can only await chances to use it under more challenging situations..
