Whether you’re shooting studio portraits or covering events, this unique-shaped photography umbrella has the power to diffuse harsh lighting coming from your flash to produce more-flattering coverage for your subject or scene. Its dynamic parabolic shape is based on standard umbrellas but it follows a more innovative, rectangular wing-like design that helps save and make the most out of the available space. What helps set it apart is its reliable and secure EZ lock push-button system, which ensures quick and easy setup. It comes in three sizes (45”, 60”, 88”) and includes two layers of fabric that effectively modifies the light source to produce striking highlights, bring out sharp details, and create saturated yet evenly dispersed lighting. The semi-translucent white layer on the inside of the umbrella covers the metallic support rods and helps diffuse the light before it bounces on the back silver/black layer, which in turn bounces light back. Use it as a shoot-through by simply removing the silver/black layer. The output is similar to light coming from a window or softbox, but without the tell-tale circle catchlight that you would typically get from large umbrellas.
