Not quite what I expected, but perhaps BETTER than I expected!

I'll start by saying that I have wanted gels to be manufactured and labeled like this for a long time. I am slightly red/green colorblind (I know, not great for a photographer), so in the past when I would buy gels, I couldn't trust that I wouldn't accidentally put a green gel on when I intended a warming gel. I would have to have someone with good color vision tell me which one was 1/4 CTO, 1/2 CTO, green, etc. I loved that these were magnetic and the gels were labeled with the color. I was so excited to find these that I didn't realize that they were intended to be used on the soft box adapter, not directly on the flash (I us the Flashpoint XPLOR 100 Pro). When I received them and realized they were too big to fit on the XPLOR 100, I was frustrated and disappointed. However, now that I have taken a minute to understand how they are intended to be used, I have come around. I can use them in a softbox with the OTA-S or OTA-C adapter, or I can remove the adapter from the soft box, attach the strobe to the adapter like usual, and use them with the naked strobe. So, to be able to gel my soft box that easily is pretty amazing and awesome. To be able to use the gels without the softbox (but with the adapter alone) is pretty handy. It isn't quite what I originally envisioned, but I think it might be better than I orginally intended. My only very slight bit of criticism is that it doesn't include the usual color correction gels - 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and full CTO. True, it doesn't sell itself as for that purpose, but that would be the 100% satisfying product if it did.

Price right color modifiers

Need adapter for my Profoto A-10s. Work great with adapter. Great substitute for Profoto gels for the price.

Glow Color Filters

I use these gels with my SMDV Flip softbox. If you use this softbox or the Angler softbox, or the Profoto Clic softbox, these gels will magnetically attach to the metal plate on the opposite side. This allow you to gel the softbox. These gels are made by by SMDV and will fit perfectly on their line of lights, B120 and B240.
