Surprised to find that it is edge lit, so no worries of funky shadows from individual LEDs. Dimmer and temp adjustment work fine. Not super bright, but plenty for some fill or to keep the ISO reasonable in dark venues. Obviously not the softest light, but small enough to use on a run and gun cage.

I've purchased larger Godox lights in the past and they've work great so I ordered 2 of their small LED lights. I bought them for my online acting classes held via Zoom. I've mounted the lights on small tripods that stand behind my computer monitor. I like these lights and my only issues are: 1. The way it's described on most web sites. The pictures and description give the impression that it comes with a battery. It does not. The relatively low price should have tipped me off. The other issue is that the recommended battery is heavy. It uses the same one as my larger Godox light and I was concerned that it would cause my lightweight tripod to tip over if jostled. Be cautious of that. 2. This light can also be used with a DC adapter. Yay! The problem is, Godox doesn't offer one. Trust me, I contacted them. I used the specs given in the description and fortunately found one through a local electric supply house.

Pros: great light quality. Temperature adjustment so easy. Price for what you get (good deal).Cons: a little bulky but not big deal.
