It does what I needed it to do and illuminates the subject much better than other versions that have a single LED ring light in the top of the box. However, the zippers on the sides are extremely tight and I got a small rip in the fabric when trying to work the second zipper around the corner. The rolled up plastic backgrounds were also extremely uncooperative, especially since the clips to hold them wouldn?t hold on to the background or the frame. This would be much improved with better clips to hold backgrounds. But given the price point on this model, one can?t expect perfection.

Overall, this unit fits my needs. I wish the diffusion material covered the entire space. There’s a gap between the diffuser and the sides, which can cause some bleed. Lowering the diffuser helps, but that can’t always be done.
