The GoPro was well packaged and sealed. I thought the extra battery was going to be a different brand but it was also an OEM battery. The package came right on the day it was scheduled to arrive. No complaints from me.

Buy if you have a hero 4 or hero5 not worth the upgrade if you have GoPro 6,7
Hero 8 is a bad camera compare with other GoPro models. The battery cover first is hard to open and it pops out easily and is a terrible design. If you shoot at 4K the camera heats up pretty fast and finally the hyper smooth is just a BS .. don’t go for it as it’s a marketing gimmick..

Gopro is just killing it, I mainly do underwater photography and I use the hero 8 as a backup camera and I love it, it’s versatile and easy to use and the video quality is just out of this world!! 10/10

This is a great little video camera. Highly recommended for casual video during activities, etc. I love the extra features like timewarp, etc..

Great improvement over previous models. Battery life could be better.
Love the integrated mount! Video quality and stabilization are phenomenal, as expected. GPS is a huge battery drain.

GoPro Hero 8 Package. A good buy for the price
So far so good, I've only had it 2 weeks and this is my first "GoPro" camera. So I'm still getting use to the menus, software on my phone, and controls. The quality looks great, much better than my 1080 that I just sold. Now I'm just trying to figure out what accessories I need to purchase such as Protective Lens Film to save it from scratches and such.

Upgraded from The Hero5. Picture quality improved, better stabilization capturing from motorcycle helmet. One tweak for future models would be easier access to memory card w/o removing battery.

Hard to rate a product having just gotten it. But for now I would recommend it.
Just received and learning to use it. Too early to say how well it will work for our purpose(filming birds) but we have seen a friends pictures they were really good. A little hard getting started but once past that it seems to be easier to work with.

A good piece of equipment. Minor complaints are that the instruction manual is severely lacking, meaning that it doesn't come with one. Also, there is a software or firmware glitch where it seems to turn on by itself and if you don't do something about it the battery will run itself down. This apparently has something to do with the Bluetooth connection and can be mitigated. It does give good quality video though and feels solid in your hands.

Hero 8 Bundle: All the parts and pieces you need
I'm so glad we ordered the bundle. What a great way to start doing sports videos. We've only done a hiking time-lapse so far, but plan to get it mounted on a kayak for an upcoming trip. Having extra batteries is a great piece of mind while traveling. Great purchase!
