I use this product to determine correct exposure, both ambient & flash, with film cameras. Unlike digital capture, you can't see results immediately. I need to have confidence that my photos come out right.

Great when you need incident or flash measurements, or instead of the camera built-in meter. Uses CR 2032 batteries, which are available almost everywhere. I wish the numbers on the dials were a bit larger for my old eyes, and the beep could be a bit louder (old ears, too).

This meter gives me perfect exposures with slide film, measuring incident light. However, using the flash metering function consistently causes underexposure. I've read and re-read, I'm pretty certain I'm measuring correctly. This is unfortunate since half the reason I bought a meter was to meter flash. Hence my rating includes both "accurate" and "inaccurate." Recommended only if you don't care about the flash function (in which case why not get the cheaper Gossen?). But, I'm giving it a 3-star rating overall since the incident light metering is perfect.
