Prints much better than expected.

Pretty straightforward install. It's only 4 inks so certainly not high end but with that said I would fell okay selling a number of prints with this machine! You really do need to use the HP printer app to print. The print quality is much better than expected, so so much better than your standard home printer and you can print large! With that said you have to manually crop your photos which seems counterproductive with a plotter but it is a budget machine.

Horrible experience all the way around

I have had difficulty with this printer from delivery to the return process because I will not be keeping it. After ordering it HP said it would be delivered in 3-5 business days, two weeks later I still hadn't heard anything. So I called and they said they would look into it and call me back. No return call but two days later FedEx called me and said they had it sitting there but HP didn't give them my number to coordinate delivery. It finally got delivered it was easy enough to set up but I had to order the paper rolls to use the poster part. The printer continued to jam and when it finally printed it ate the paper. I tried to initiate a return and you have to jump through hoops and they have five days to approve or deny it, which would put me outside of my return window because it took so long to get delivered. Someone agreed to take it back but it has to be inspected to see if the will give me my return after the get it back. Horrible experience all the way around.

A really awesome printer!

I'm honestly so impressed with this large format printer! I've always wanted a machine like this but they are SO expensive- so when I had this opportunity to try one at a major discount I jumped at the opportunity. The printer is awesome! It is efficient, surprisingly quiet and produces beautiful large format prints. I also love owning a trusted brand like HP. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a need to print posters, blueprints or other large format designs.

paper size options

this is my 3rd HP plotter, for architectural work. this one is not as user friendly as my last one HP 430) as I still have not been able to change paper sizes at will. so far I have to plot with the A-1 size.

Not pleased

The printer was not as user friendly as my old T120 that I was replacing. Plus the salesman didn't have enough knowledge of the product. I asked specifically if there was capability to print both rolls and 11 x 17 sheets and I was told yes. What I wasn't told was that I had to buy a tray to do that. If I had known ahead of time I could have kept the one from my old T120 however, not knowing that, I recycled it along with the old printer.
