Review Summary

I bought this printer in march 2020, I enrolled in instant Ink in 2021, it worked well for 2 and 1/2 years. Suddenly the printer started showing a blue screen error, that would persist across restarts. To fix the error, I performed a default factory reset, which resolved the blue screen issue, but caused the printer to be unable to connect to the instant Ink web services and consequently disabled the cartridges from printing. It is worth noticing that the reset operation caused the printer to display an invalid serial number, like it had been corrupted. I spent about 9 hours with customer service across 3 different tickets in trying to troubleshoot the issue, but eventually the resolution was to buy another printer as my warranty expired after 1 year. I am still wondering if a complete software reinstall could have restored the functionality, but I will never find out. I don't think my next printer will be an HP.

I have had this printer over a year. Works OK, most of the time, when it doesn't-- it's really hard to diagnose and fix. I could not get the Instant Ink feature to work and it didn't order ink for me, so I had to buy some locally-- that bricked the ink cartridges I had originally and I had to buy new cartridges to replace the ones that weren't empty. Sometimes printer goes offline for no reason. I cannot imagine a scenario where I buy another HP printer.

This computer has a factory defect. HP has shipped me THREE. The touchscreen is non-functional out of the box. They keep wanted to send me a new one. It is like Groundhog day.

I have had this printer for less than six months and twice, going on three times, it has lost connection to my printer. For a smart printer, this thing is absolutely stupid and I want to take a sledge hammer to it! Features are really nice, when it does work. You can chose scanning resolution and doubled sided scanning is nice; however, the feeder seems to jam up a lot, which is really annoying as scanning documents in quickly is really impossible. My advice, find a different unit. This one is not worth the money.

This printer constantly jams, sends a message to my computer that it needs attention, just sits there and won't printer. Try to shut it down and it just sits there spinning in the abyss. I've always bought HP printers but this thing is a piece of junk.

Scanner gets jammed constantly, even when scanning only 2-4 clean pages through the feeder. Printer trays completely dysfunctional. Printer thinks it's out of paper all the time, when it's perfectly supplied. Made the mistake of trying to print on envelopes from Tray 2 once, and it's never recovered. Shoddy and cheap.

Great printer, better than 9010 model The printer has 2 pull out trays instead of traditional manual feed tray. Yet small footprint even with the additional tray. Tray 2 has the ability to print up to legal size paper. There's a paper guide to extend the size of tray 2. The printer includes ethernet option if needed as well as USB 2.0 Touch panel is easy to read and use. I can scan direct to my computer as long as I'm connected to home network.

HP has once again produced a stellar product. I have traditionally purchased HP printers and did again when my 5 yr old HP printed its last page. The OfficeJet Pro 9025 is a great printer that is easy to set up, connect to WiFi and is quick to print. Bravo HP!

My software is requiring my to connect to the internet to scan. Makes no sense the relationship is between my computer and my scanner. There is no reason to connect. I think HP forgot who?s equipment it is and personal privacy.

Another bulky, noisy, and flimsy piece of machinery. It shakes like it'll fall off the table. After two months of use it made so much cracking and squeaking noise like its breaking apart. HP is not in the business of quality printers but rather in the ink business. I am going back to Canon.

Great printer but half the functions don’t work if you’re in a Mac environment. The Mac app you MUST use to scan documents is horrible! The print and copy functions are fine and we loved having two paper drawers for dedicated envelopes or labels in the second drawer. The best feature of HP printers is the automatic ink subscription service. Super cheap and ink shows up like magic about a week or two before you need it. I took away two stars for all the features that don’t work with macs and gave back one for the easy instant ink service.

This printer is the best all-in-one I've ever owned. It's easy to use, quiet and very versatile with its available functions. Print quality is laser-comparable, even with photos. The second drawer can be used for different varities of printing stock and eliminates the need to switch paper sizes, as with my former single drawer model. The duplex printing also works great on scans and copying, with glass and top-feed methods. This printer allows you to flip the page portrait, or landscape for booklet format. You can even print 2 pages on the front of 1 sheet of paper. It also accepts a 2XL cart for black & white printing, yielding about 2000 copies. The full feature installation software, however, deserves less than a 1-star rating. I've used it for over 3 weeks with a USB connection, only because the downloaded program refuses to install in Win 8.1, without Microsoft's 4.6.1 net framework. After 4 wasted and time-consuming re-downloads and attempted installs, I'm still unable to get a full install, with an error message. I even tried on a separate laptop and got the same message. I've contacted HP and hopefully will get the problem resolved, but it sure is frustrating. Thankfully, I'm still able to use the printer with the basic features on a USB cable.

Nice printer. Software installation is ridiculous. That hp 123 site is confusing and simply doesn't work. Keeps saying there is a newer version of the software but it's the exact same version when you try to install it. Keeps you in an endless loop until you totally remove the software and just download from the regular hp site. Then you get a message from the printer that a printer needs an update. Crazy!

I wish I was happier with this printer for what I paid for it. I have had two IT people out and the only way to scan from this printer is by using the HP software, you cannot just use the buttons from the screen on the printer. It also advertises that it prints much faster than it really does. The 2nd tray is also impossible to get to work. Save your money and buy the cheaper model or spend the money on a laserjet. This printer is overpriced for what it is and lacks functionality.

I love this printer! It was super easy to set up and it runs great. It was exactly what I needed - color and double-sides printing. I had an issue with connectivity to the WI-FI for a few days but it was easily fixable, which was great!

Fast print jobs, large ink capacity, instant ink is a definite plus, clear and accurate print output, easily connected to my wifi network. While it is a bit louder than my prior HP printer, the speed of print jobs far outweighs the noise issue.

This product did not ship with a disc for installing drivers and I could not download the drivers from HP’s site. I had to pay for a third party to get the online drivers to load.

Im not sure what the other reviewer's problem was exactly (most likely user error), I have never had a network issue (wired, bluetooth, or wifi). I upgraded from the 8710, which was a fantastic printer.

I was honestly a bit doubtful of how the HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 all-in-one was going to stack up to the LaserJet I've been using for the last few years. The price point is surprisingly affordable in a field of many printers that claim to offer huge quality at a reasonable price. When I received the printer I was immediately worried that it was going to be way too big to fit into my designated printer space in my home office. Upon opening, I was pleasantly surprised at the set up and how compac...
