Announcing the Next Generation of IDX Compact Battery
IDX is proud to announce the newest addition to the DUO Compact battery series, the DUO-C98. This has the same features as the DUO-C95, one USB port, one standard D-Tap and a D-Tap Advanced which allows for mating with the VL-DT1 charger, making travel easier with this charger. Like the DUO-C95, the DUO-C98 now becomes the world's most perfect compact. IATA friendly (<100Wh) Li-ion professional battery with multiple power outputs- perfect for handheld gimbal and aerial setups. The DUO-C98 has the same features plus greater capacity at 96Wh, is high load at 10A and comes equipped with the new D-Tap Advanced charge/discharge port, standard D-Tap and USB power ports.
Additionally, the addition of SMBUS allows for data display in the viewfinder on RED cameras. The DUO-C98's continue where the DUO-C95's left off. It shares the same slim profile of 25.4mm / 1.5" allowing the battery to fit camera systems where space is limited. With the ability to handle a 70W load, the DUO-C98 is the idea battery for keeping your equipment light and compact. All of this at the same cost as DUO-C95!
