Use it for outdoor portrait sessions. Easy to adjust quickly. Really happy with it!

I own a large Manfrotto monopod and needed something small to carry around for personal use. Well it happens that it now goes on all shoots. It is very light and pretty strong, as long as you are careful when you add over its weight capacity. I have been using it more than the Manfrotto, specially because it gets me much lower. It has supported a 5DMk3 with a 100-400mm, head, camera cage, monitor, mic, external battery and cables. I use it with a MagicBall ball head.

This is a top of the line monopod. I am very pleased with the AM25. It is extreemely well constructed and is very compact. The belt case that comes with this monopod is perfect for travel. The pod also doubles as a great walking sick. I have found this is a great pod for creating a steady shot but not so much for long exposures. I also bought a tripod and use the B200 Ball head mount on the monopod as well! My only thought is that it would have been nice if a ball mount had been included with the monopod, but nothing is perfect :) I am very pleased with this purchase and I suspect you will be too! The picture I have attached was taken with my Canon 40D and a Canon 24-105L using the monopod. You can spend a lot more money on a monpod but I doubt you would gain much more, hope this review helps you in your deliberation.
