Perfect for my Canon EOS R!
This tripod is perfect for what I want to use it for. I wanted something strong and sturdy that I can take traveling with me and use it for photo and video. It's a great size, super portable, flexible and easy to use, and it's strong enough to hold my Canon EOS R and also my Canon 6D with relatively heavy lenses attached. Very happy with my purchase!

When you want something for compact...
It’s early but so far so good. I got the 5k because I have an x-t3. Compact enough for traveling and not as cumbersome to take compared to my nicer manfrotto tripods.

great product
This is a very cool product. I have yet to try it with the heaviest of set ups, but it certainly seems solid. I like the ball head particularly, it seems to lock quite solidly into place with minimal tightening. All in all, a super steady base, a compact package and a price I am OK with. I would buy it again and will likely recommend to others.

Very popular with vloggers.
All the vloggers I watch use this thing, so I figured that was testimony enough for me. And now that I have one, I see why it's so popular. Great, convenient, and allows you to set up using limbs, rails and odd shaped surfaces... just like that.

I love this product. It has a little problem on the head. Sometimes when i turn the knob to change the position, the head won’t turn and stuck.

PERFECT construction and TRAVEL perfect.
The 5k kit is the way to go. At this price point, I couldn't justify saving 30 bucks for the lower weight capacity kits. This will fit your action cams, heavy lens + bodies, a cell phone mount, A LOT of professional video cameras. Very versatile.
I personally was looking for a jack of all trade tripod. These are some of the features I loved about the Joby.
1) Compact and not too heavy for travel. Fits in my 20L backpack or can be tied to the bag.
2) Selfie stick!
3) Tripod in the most unlikeliest corners and places! Cause sometimes you just need a tripod on some rails or a tree branch and a traditional tripod is just not gonna do that.
4) Great mounting base for all sorts of camera mount attachments so I don't have to keep swapping bits!
5) Precise movement on the radial dial! Helpful with panoramas.
Now, is this your ultimate landscape photography tripod? Let's be fair, it's got its limitations on height and stability in all weather situations. But who really wants to shoot photos in a storm?? I ain't submitting my work for National Geographics! I love this thing for it's everyday practicality and get excited everytime I get to use it!

Very solid mid size tripod
I had the 3K for a hot second before I sent it back because I wanted the 5K. You definitely feel the difference and this thing is solid. I know after continuous use, this will loosen up but I feel like this will hold anything I put on it for some time. It is about the size of my full size tripod when folded and probably even a little heavier. However, I didn't buy this to replace my tripod but to have something I can take on hikes and do things like attach my camera to a tree branch or on a pile of rocks. If you are looking for something to blog with as you walk around, this is not for you, but if you want to climb a tree and take nature photos with a 300mm+ lens on a full frame camera, this is probably what you want.

ball head stuck after one use
Ball head will not come unstuck after one time using this tripod. Maybe I got a defective one but I would expect better QC.

What an awesome tripod!
Wow! What an awesome tripod. I will be using this on every hiking outing to save room and energy. It holds my 70-200, 5D Mark IV, Large L bracket, attached battery pack and hotshoe flash trigger and still is steady as a boulder.

Very useful for a narrow range of photos
The Arca-Swiss mount is a lovely feature to have. That is the only reason I purchased this one instead of the 3K. This tripod is very sturdy for my mirrorless camera, but the side effect is bulk. It's definitely on the chunkier side, but for me, it works fantastic for certain outdoor macro shots. The ball head is very smooth, and the panning function is nice to have, although I don't use that a lot.

Great little tripod!
Got this for a Panasonic DVX200; it totally supports the heavy unit and is rock solid. I have no fear in leaving the camera on it. My only gripe is that it doesn't have a bubble level or ball head. Thankfully my camera has a digital level, but if you want to pan evenly you need to make sure the legs are level. But otherwise, great unit.

GorillaPod 5K Killer
This tripod is a nice addition to my photography kit, allowing me to get new angles I haven't been able to acquire with my traditional tripod. Truly built like a tank. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

My only complaint is that it appears to have been designed to keep Manfrotto quick locks from working with this unit.

Better than I thought
Bought this specifically for a holiday as I could keep it in my rucksack and take it everwhere, used it a lot more than I thought I would, you just have to be a bit creative about how and where you use it. It is a permanent fixture in my camera bag, I am hoping it is as durable as it seems.
