JVC's DT-X71F ProHD 7" AC/DC Portable Full Featured Monitor (HD-SDI, HDMI, Composite) is a high-end professional monitor with a number of things going for it. First off, the DT-X71F features a number of beneficial connections, including HD/SD-SDI, HDMI and Composite. It also converts HDMI to SDI output with embedded audio from the HDMI. Additionally each of the HD/SD-SDI outputs have a loop through output. The monitor also supports waveform and full scale under both the SDI and HDMI connections. Other features include a vector scope, histogram, a 16 channel audio meter, peaking focus assistant and SDI Timecode. Zebra stripes, false color and G-sensor auto flip, among other functions are core aspects of the monitor as well.
When it comes to viewing on the DT-X71F it sports a 1024 x 600 resolution with 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratio options. The 16.7 million color support, a 900:1 contrast ratio and a 160deg. by 160deg. viewing angle all work to provide a clear and accurate image. User definable function keys allow for saving shortcuts, while front and rear 3 color TALLY lights give people a "live" signal in front and behind the monitor. The DT-X71F is powered via a 4-pin XLR 12VDC connector or using an optional snap-on JVC BN-VF823USP battery.
