Happy with upgrade from foot included on 500 PF
Easy installation, works. Definitely an improvement over the Nikon foot included with my 500 PF especially with the QD d-ring I also ordered to use with my Black Rapid strap

Much better than the OEM foot for Nikon 70-200 FLE
I've used Kirk plates and clamps for years. High quality and they just work. This product is no different: the Kirk replacement foot clicks positively into the 70-200 FL ED's lens collar (unlike the original), and the knob is easy to tighten securely.

Works like a charm!
This replacement foot works so well that one hardly notices it. It lowers the "lens size profile" a bit, so that the lens more easily travels in a camera bag. It works without fiddling or need to check adjustment and is very stable on the tripod. BEST: it allows easy solid fail safe attachment to Arca style clamps for tripod use.
