Kirk Quick Release L-Bracket for Nikon D4s
Works like a charm, a bit spendy but very durable. You get what you pay for-- no regrets here.

Fits like a glove
I purchased one for my Nikon D5, and it fit like a glove, and is a nice solid metal structure. Fits my Arca Swiss clamp great and hold it nice and solid, I would recommend this to any one that wants a reliable L-bracket.

Must have
The Kirk L bracket and RRS brackets are pretty much industry standards for tripod mounts. My D5 is built tough but this helps add a bit of extra protection. Adds a bit of extra weight but I can shoot an entire wedding with it on, no problem. It's expensive but as long as you stay with the pro bodies you don't need a new one when you upgrade.
