Mixed feelings
Not as expected. The mechanism looks delicate and cannot be used with any filter on the cameras

Mixed Bag
Pros:
It works as advertised. It's excellent for shooting on the fly.
Cons:
I can't understand how such a simple piece of equipment could cost almost $100.
I've only had it for a month or so and it's fallen off in normal use already. For the price, I expected a better and firmer fit to the lens.
I will give a yes recommendation on this, but that's only if price is not an issue. There are cheaper alternatives on the market.

Convenient.
Good lens cap for Leica D-luxe 7.
Difficult lose it and give some shade to the lens as well.

Nice addition with one drawback
Cool and convenient but over priced. The down side is that it does not provide clearance for a filter.

Auto Lens cap for Leica D-Lux (109)
Very nice addition to the camera. Highly recommend it. Smooth action, out of the way and no dangly lens cap to get in the way or loose. Appears to provide good protection
