Love this Leica SL2 with 50mm Cron. However, be advised that if you use it at events, you will need at least an extra batterie or two and nothing from Leica comes cheap. Well worth it though. I sold a lot of cameras and camera equipment for this baby and don't regret it.

Images I can only call Leica rich, quality unmatched. Body construction is solid and built for a lifetime of images and use. The true definition of the camera is in owning one. The statement, "you get what you pay for," couldn't be more true.

I’ve been researching this for a while. And while I get it’s an expensive product and there’s other cameras equal to this mirrorless Leica, but oh boy, is it worth it to me. Although it’s heavier than some, the build quality is excellent, and in my opinion is better than my former Nikon D850. Despite its weight, it’s an easy camera to hold. Of course, the optics and sensor are superb and for me the button layout and menus couldn’t be easier. Highly recommended.

2 months into my new SL2 (24-90, 90-280 lenses), I haven't missed my Canon 1DXii and lenses (okay, a little of the 70-200 F/2.8 IS II). Absolutely love the look, feel and the "operatablity" of the SL2 even though I'm still in the "getting to know it" phase--I have yet to customize any of the buttons. I'm equally pleased with my experiences dealing with the Adorama folk in the past two months--courteous and responsive. Also a bit surprised when I received a package in the mail with "Deutch Post" and "FRANKIT" markings, which turned out to be a copy of the actual SL2 User Manual that came from Leica Germany, as a result of a request I made on a call with a Leica customer service rep. when I casually mentioned that it would have been nice to have a copy of the actual user guide.

I am very happy with this fine camera. It took me seventy years to get onboard with Leica and it was so worth the wait. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has the resources to purchase one. Good Day Mates!

I am very happy with this fine camera. It took me seventy years to get onboard with Leica and it was so worth the wait. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has the resources to purchase one. Good Day Mates!
What sets the Leica SL2 Mirrorless Camera apart is its perfect blend of sophistication, high-tech features, and innovative design. This sleek and stylish camera is the latest milestone in Leica's long history of premium cameras, building on the platform established by the Leica SL in 2015.
The SL2 takes the full-frame mirrorless segment to new heights with its improved performance, refined ergonomics, and streamlined controls. It boasts a brand new 47-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor, coupled with state-of-the-art sensor-based Body Image Stabilization. This combination ensures the highest image and video quality possible with all Leica lenses.
The camera's new Maestro III processor facilitates fast burst shooting and 4K video recording for the utmost quality and flexibility. The optional Cine Mode caters to cinematographers who require a professional workflow. The SL2's new OLED EVF, with 5.76 million dots of resolution, guarantees the clearest view and composition through a Leica lens.
The SL2's larger 3.2" rear LCD and the essential Leica three-button control layout make it the most capable and approachable professional system camera. Its newly developed 47-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor, with an ISO range of 50 - 50,000, provides all the resolution photographers need while still maintaining high speeds and versatile low-light shooting.
The SL2 is a perfect hybrid platform for both stills and video, now recording 4K across the full sensor. It goes further with 4K video up to 60 fps, a cropped 5K mode, built-in 3.5mm headphone and mic jacks, and 10-bit quality direct to card.
The SL2's advanced contrast-detect autofocus system is capable of face detection and body detection, tracking moving subjects and maintaining pinpoint accuracy. Its intelligent-AF (iAF) can focus on still subjects and begin tracking them as soon as they move.
The SL2's new IP54-rated weather sealing ensures this versatile camera can perform in any extreme environment. Its improved ergonomics and contours, along with the new grip material, ensure it can be used for long periods of time without fatigue.
The Leica SL2 Mirrorless Camera is designed in-house and made in Germany, built to last with design cues from Leica's history that honor the past with a focus on the future. With its expansive and continuously growing selection of optics, both new and classic, the SL2 is a testament to Leica's commitment to innovation and quality.
