At this price they're a steal!
I caught these on one of those special email offers from Adorama. They were marked down to less than $100--a fantastic price for compact flash cards of this much memory capacity.

I would have given the Lexar 16Gb dual pack 5 stars but I lost several images on an important shoot. I am glad the photos weren't crucial to my project. For years I have always used Lexar with my Nikon cameras without any problems. After calling Lexar they walked me thru the process of reformatting the card, (which is different than incamera formatting.) Once formatted the card has worked as good or better than I had hoped. Only one of the cards had a flaw so technically I would give this item 4 1/2 Stars before formatting and now 5 stars.

A Very Reliable CF card
Use these CF cards with a Canon 5D Mrk II, both with stills and video. Card receives the images quickly with no problems. No wait time for the camera.

Right capacity for the job
While larger storage devices are available, this size enables me to subset my photo shoots into small manageable blocks, and minimizes potential image loss in case of device failure. Setup, formatting, use and reformatting are natural and require minimal efforts. I have used Lexar CF cards for many years and have found them very reliable, with not a single failure in use or storage. The 400x write speed is more than adequate for the image capture sequences that I require.

Lexar Cards
The first cards I received were not recording as I had hoped. Lexar replaced the cards and did it expediently. I was extremely pleased with their product and their service.

Great product and customer service
Fast transfers to camera. You don't have to wait on your camera's buffer. It writes the information quickly directly to the card.
I had an issue with one but Lexar replaced with an upgraded card. They turned a negative into a positive. I would purchase again.

Great Deal
With over 25 years as a professional photographer I tend to be a brand snob and Lexar is one of my most trusted brands, this 2-pace of 16 Gig cards is a great value and very stable brand of CF Cards--the only brand I trust with my and my client's images. I can remember pay upwards of $800 for a single 512 Meg Card, my how times have changed--that just shows my age. Now I can shoot heavy all day long at major events, producing larger image files and not have to worry about card space in my camera

It does what it claims it will
I loaded up the D3S with 2 of these and shot a surfing event at the Wedge. Uploads were fast and reliable. I shot up to 9 frames per second sometimes and uploads were consistently fast. I filled up 2 cards and got what i wanted.
Glad I have these cards.

the only way to go
I use this product at all times, for stock shoots, business and also for personal usage. This product was not a gift and I will continue to buy in the future. I recommend this product to all when I speak about photography.

Excellent performance - Excellent value
I have used these CF cards in the opposing extremes of temperature without a single glitch. Never had one minutes trouble out of my Lexar CF cards.

Excellent deal!
I needed to upgrade to larger compact flash cards for an upcoming trip. When I saw this deal from Adorama I had to jump on it. Lexar cards are very reliable and seem to be the #1 choice of many pros. The 2 pack price is very reasonable and I couldn't be happier. Adorama rocks!!
