Exactly as described. The only weak point is the documentation. It has to be downloaded. The documentation has minimal information about attaching a VESA mount. Turns out the attachment points are populated with screws. Have to loosen the top screws and remove the screws at the bottom to attach the mount (my mount had open slots at the top, your mount might not). Everything else seems to be as expected.

We bought two of these monitors, and while one works just fine, this one stopped working suddenly. The screen has vertical lines, and if it is bumped wrong, blacks out. It basically acts like it was dropped, but there is no physical damage on it

I needed a monitor to supplement my TV connection for multi-tasking on my computer. I immediately was impressed with how much better the picture quality was. The text and graphics are ridiculously smoother. I loved the monitor's crisp view so much I bought another one and stacked above the original. I connected them via Display Port and adjusted their brightness and power saver settings to my preference. They perform flawlessly!! My only gripe would be that the connections should be vertical instead of horizontal. The monitors a relatively thin, however, the Display Port cable sticks out 2" behind the monitor. This is would only be useful if you planned on mounting flat on a wall.

Pros: great quality, mid-range specs, good price when on sale, HDR, 1440p, very readable and gameable, thin bezel Cons: no auto detect for inputs, lots of clicks to change inputs I use a pair of these monitors, mainly for browsing, working, email, calendar, power points, etc. Very easy on the eyes for work. Limited game use, but when I do, the quality is excellent. I do switch between inputs quite often, so I'm frequently pushing controls to change. Wish there was an auto detect option or a single button to more easily change inputs.

Got this monitor because I was sick of having mix matched panels so I decided to go with all LG monitors. Very thin bezels and good color accuracy so no complaints from me!

I bought two of these to upgrade my home office, and they are working as expected. Due to budget I didn't go 4K but for business work and no video or gaming, the resolution is fine. I only gave 4 not 5 stars due to the VESA mounting. I purchased a desk mount for two monitors and when I went to attach the monitors the bracket wouldn't fit due to the rounded corners in the mold of the monitors. It could have been the North Bayou Flexi mount that was not per VESA spec, but I think the radius of the rounded edge of the monitor mold was too large. I ended up filing down the edges of the mounts to fit. See the attached picture. Had I had a grinder this would have been easy but it took two hours to do two corners on each bracket with a hand file. In the end it all looks great and works well.

Going from a 24? to a 27? seems a small change, but it is a huge gain in workspace real estate, even if your computer does not support the maximum monitor configuration. Installation was easy as plug and play, no driver needed. Image is sharp and clear; colors are excellent regardless of the brightness setting.

I'm really enjoying this monitor that I bought a month ago. I upgraded from a 23-inch LCD monitor to this 27-inch LED monitor. I really appreciate the extra on-screen area when working with multiple windows. I?m using it on Windows 10. The 23-inch monitor was 1920x1080 and this monitor is 2560 x 1440. Given that my old monitor was a 23-inch monitor, the fonts on the screen of the new monitor come out a bit smaller, so that gives even more effective extra space on the screen. The new font sizes are just fine, and I am happy with the results. I like the monitor?s features. The image quality and color are good. I use it primarily for general text editing, programming, and photo editing, and am very happy with my purchase.

The colours are vibrant, true to life. This panel is one of the best I've had to deal with. The quality of the colour reproduction is extremely good! It's really one of the best IPS panels I've seen. The anti=glare coating does the best job I've seen at cutting down reflection. There really is none! The menu system is easy to navigate with the joystick and laid out well. Options are easy to find and customise. The power light can be set off which is always good. No constant blinking in power savings mode. There is absolutely no backlight bleed. Quite a positive when it comes to an IPS panel! Quite an amazing performer for an everyday driver!

It has a kind of wobbly stand for such a big monitor but other than that it has been very good. Excellent for working with spreadsheets. I also game on it, for some reason the Xbox one x won't recognize it as 1440p so I have to force that resolution (which works fine) but when I do that it won't let me use freesync. Not sure where the issue comes from, monitor or Xbox but it was a let down since that was the main reason I bought this monitor.

Bought this for a MacBook Pro to use as an external display via the DisplayPort connection and to connect to a Mac mini via HDMI, so this model was perfect since it has two HDMI inputs plus DisplayPort. Screen is more than bright enough, no bleed at edges or uneven brightness. The joystick controller is a nice change from the usual row of buttons on the left or right side that most displays have, but even better is the option to install not one, but two software utilities that allow for control of many of the hardware functions in software, and also implement a way to share your keyboard and mouse between two computers. 99% of the time this stuff is only available on Windows, so thanks for thinking of us Mac users, LG! There are a few very minor issues I have with the display, but nothing that would keep me from recommending it. One is that the number of button presses to switch inputs seems excessive (like 5 or 6) and I was hoping that the software could do that, but alas, it could not and LG support confirmed that that is not an option nor is it on their radar. Also, it lacks USB hub functionality, which does exist on other displays in this price range so that would have been a nice extra but not a dealbreaker. Finally, the DisplayPort version is configurable, from 1.1 to 1.2 to 1.4, which is great, but it was preset to 1.4, and I could not get my MacBook's screen to show on the LG even though the MacBook indicated that it was connected. I was about ready to return it to the vendor in frustration, until some Googling revealed that Macs of my vintage do not support DisplayPort versions beyond 1.2, and it was only then I discovered that the DP version could be selected in the hardware controls. Setting it back to DP 1.2 worked a treat and I was good to go. That is more my failure to consult the manual than a problem with the display, but in my defense, the manual states "There may be no video or audio output depending on the DP (DisplayPort) version of the PC," but does NOT then go on to suggest something to the effect of, "The DP version can be changed via hardware controls (see page 19)," so that is my humble recommendation for a future version of the documentation. So, all in all, with those minor caveats, it's a great display and as a lifelong Mac users, I'm very happy with it.

I purchased this monitor as a second monitor for my remote-work setup, thinking it would pale in comparison for my main monitor that cost almost three times as much. I was surprised that side-by-side, the differences are almost a non-issue. This monitor is sharp, colors are rich and the contrast is great as well. For the $ it's a steal of a display.

I wanted something I could use on my gaming PC and my iMac at the same time without spending a ton of money. For the type of gaming I do (not competitive, it's more than enough). The anti-reflecting coating really hurts the contrast, but it's not bad when there's content actually on the screen (really only noticeable when there are a lot of blacks). Took some time to dial in the color temperature, but overall very happy with it. The included stand is VERY basic. Recommend getting a VESA arm or a better aftermarket stand if you need more adjustability.
