So excited about this pack. I ordered another backpack from a different company and I was SO disappointed...it was cute, but felt so cheap and didn't have room for all my gear. I ended up ordering this bag for the SAME price, but the quality and size are on a much higher level. The grey color is perfect - it's nicer than black, but not so fancy I worry about damaging it. I honestly don't have a single complaint about this bag! OH and it works wonderfully as an airplane carryon bag!! (It fits perfectly in overhead bins.)

I'm always on the lookout for a bag I can take on the road. I'm off on assignment more than 6 months of the year, and what I've found after some 50 countries and more than 200 features, is that I don't like to haul too much stuff when I don't have to. This bag allows me to pack exactly what I need, and little else. I love it. Into this bag I've packed: - Nikon D800 - Nikon 1AW1 - GoPro - Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8 - Nikkor 70-200 f/2.8 - Nikkor 85mm f/1.4 - Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 - Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 - 2TB portable hard disks (x2) - cords, chargers, batteries, memory - GoPro accessories, and a bunch of other stuff. After this, there's still a little room in the top for a compact jacket and my wallet, small laptop, and documents. The bag rides very comfortably when loaded full, and works great out in the field once I've taken a few pieces of gear out. All in all, fantastic bag; glad to have found this one. I do wish there were more pockets, and a waterbottle slot would be nice. Small gripes, however.

Compact travel. Light. It should have more pockets to storage compare to Think Tank backpack pro, this is a bad dedign.

I am packing a D600, 14-24mm f2.8, 50mm 1.8, 24-85mm f3.5-4.6, Tamron 180mm macro f3.5, speedlight, chargers, and all the other little cleaner you could have. as well as a tripod on the outside. all that fits and feels good with room at the top for a pair of shorts and a shirt. this is a great bag and seems like it will hold up for a long time and work well for hikes and walking. the rain cover is a huge bonus for those full day hikes. i returned on for an issue with a zipper strap but adorama had a new one to my days later. i wish i had a few more internal compartments that zippered or velcro'ed

This bag is the only bag i use to store and transport al of my camera equipment. It is comfortable to wear and has all the room to accommodate everything. It has adequate protection for everything inside.

I purchased this bag to serve as my main photography bag and as such to serve as a carry on for plane flights where I need to carry my laptop as well. The specs claim support for a 15" laptop but compartment zipper only opens on the top and part of the side and won't allow anything thicker than an airbook or thin tablet to fit (the front photo compartments squeeze out all the room). I couldn't get my 15" ThinkPad without the battery even a third of the way in - FAIL. I'm sure the other features are fine but I won't know because I'm returning mine right away.

I shoot primarily scenic shots, or shots of birds. The case is easily adaptable to carry either the scenic lens set (11-16, 24-105 and 70-200, or the bird set (70-200 and 400). Padding is great for either being under an airplane seat, or tossed into the backseat of a car. The side access makes it easy to swing it around and grab the camera, with up to a 70-200 lens attached. I use the laptop pocket to carry a vest and poncho.
