About M64 MADI/USB 2.0/AVB-TSN Ethernet Audio Interface with DSP and Mixing

Make your audio production more efficient and versatile with the M64 MADI/USB 2.0/AVB-TSN Ethernet Audio Interface with DSP and Mixing. This advanced audio interface serves as a comprehensive MADI converter, router, repeater, splitter, and mixer, making it an indispensable tool for live performance systems, network installations, or recording studios of any size.

The M64 boasts 256 channels of MADI I/O, providing optical MADI (64 channels in and out), along with independent coaxial MADI (64 channels in and out). It also features an extra duplicate BNC output, supporting all standard formats and sample rates. This high-performance audio interface ensures ultra-low latency performance with optimized drivers for both Mac and PC, delivering an impressive round trip latency (RTL) of 1.70 ms on OS X and 1.71 ms on Windows over USB.

The M64's 48-input digital mixer comes with 7 stereo aux busses, 3 groups, access to 64 network inputs, and DSP effects. These effects include classic reverb, EQ modeled after British analog console EQs, and compression modeled after the legendary LA-2A compressor. With 32-bit floating point processing, the M64's DSP engine offers virtually unlimited headroom and superior sound quality.

This audio interface also supports stand-alone operation with wireless control. Connect an Apple Airport or other Wi-Fi router for wireless control of device settings, powerful 48-channel mixing, and DSP effects. You can control the M64 on-board DSP, mixing, device settings, and network audio routing from any web browser on a laptop, tablet, or smartphone connected to your local area network.

The M64 also features a Touch Console designed specifically for touchscreen operation, allowing you to effortlessly control the powerful 48-channel mixer and effects. The full-color LCD provides detailed metering for all I/O, and the standard word clock input and output enable you to synchronize the M64 with other digital audio gear or house sync.

Expand your system by connecting a second MOTU AVB-equipped interface with a simple CAT-5e Ethernet cable or build a network with multiple interfaces and computers using standard AVB/TSN switches and network cabling. The M64 also includes AudioDesk workstation software for Mac and Windows, providing 24-bit recording, sample-accurate editing, and 32-bit mixing and mastering.

With the M64 MADI/USB 2.0/AVB-TSN Ethernet Audio Interface with DSP and Mixing, you'll have a flexible, dynamic, and scalable mixing experience, making it an essential addition to your audio production setup.
