It doesn't look like much, but it does its job surprisingly well. Attaches firmly to my lightstand and makes setup that much easier. The locking collar means you don't have to worry about your flash falling off. Having a hole and screw for an umbrella is a nice touch. Over the years I've had different bits and pieces that I used, but nothing is as good as this.

I absolutely love the functionality of the MagShoe2! I can aim any flash, speed light and MagBox to my liking! I have a V860 II and three AD200 Pro II. Along with two MagStrip Boxes, a 24" MagMod octa and the 42" MagMod octa. The MagShoe attaches perfectly to the 1/4-20 adapter and I'm able to attach gels, grids and my favorite the MagSphere. I feel like everything with MagMod begins with the MagShoe! Everyday I love the ecosystem more and more. Again, thank you, MagMod

I have used several brands of flash bracket with my Godox AD200s. This is hands-down the quickest and easiest to set-up, and the most stable -- when you set an angle, it stays there, and does not spontaneously wilt during a shoot. It is worth the cost.

Great stability for my flash. I do not have to worry (too much) about the flash base breaking off. It's nice and sturdy. I can place my camera on a tripod and hold the Mag Shoe/flash separately angling the light as I wish. Gives me a lot of flexibility.

I have a few other brands of this style grip, but none have the flexibility and ease of use of the MagShoe2. Works well with all styles of light stands as well as telescopic boom poles. I've gained total trust in using this with my speedlites and OCFs because of the double lock-in system at the cold shoe. Again, MagMod for the win!!

I bought this not knowing (but hoping) I could use this both as a hand grip and on a flash stand. Super excited it does BOTH - BUTTTT....honestly the best part is that I am able to change the angle of the flash while it's on the flash stand just by using the button on the handle instead of manually adjusting the entire light (super pain when taking a lot of photos). Very impressed!

This is my 3rd magshoe, and my second Magshoe 2 so while I do like them, I do have a small complaint that they never really feel "locked in". Now, full transparency, I've never had one fail, or anything like that, but no matter how secured you get your flash, theres always a little bit of a wiggle that just always makes me a little nervous.

Love the MagShoe2. I even bought a second one because I love the ease of use it brings to my kit. Its one of the "little things" having the ability to easily mount and adjust my lights with one hand is amazing, no more setting my camera down. Also when you take it off a light stand it gives you a handle so an assistant is able to hold it with a modifier etc..great stuff
