Lovely legs

This is my second neotec tripod. I purchased because of the ease of use in situations where the surface is uneven. Extremely portable and durable.

My goto tripod ... slick as can be.

Easiest and quickest to use tripod there is. Does not compact well, except for space considerations this is my goto tripod.

Great Tripod

Easiest leg/height adjustment of any available tripod. It's a dream to work with. I use it daily and it stays in m car. Combined with my Really Right Stuff ball head it provides a steady platform. A little on the heavy side but worth it.

Good choice for ease of use & quickness.

Loving this tripod. Its ease to setup & short time makes it an absolute pleasure. I mated it with the Manfrotto Hydrostatic Ball Head with RC2 Rapid Connect System and just couldn't be happier. I use it with a D3s.

Neatest leg locking system ever!

I had reviewed several tripods, perhaps I may have overlooked a few along the way, but the locking system caught my eye. A photographers dream come true. Easy to level, and allows camera mount vertical or horizontally. Push a button, slide the legs up and you're ready to go to the next scene.

I love this tripod..I love Bogen Imaging

I love its ease of leg extension and contraction. I move around a lot changing positions and this helps. One note of caution, the silver buttons that release the legs for contraction are held onto the tripod by two screws. During a trek last week, a screw fell out and I lost the button so it was not very easy to release the leg. Some archaeologist no doubt will find it. I called Bogen, and Maurizio sent me a replacement in one week. Great product and service. Get thyself a set of metric hex wrenches and tighthen the screws periodically.

Bogen Neotec - good for general purpose

The legs are not as helpful as the advertising would suggest. The legs are a little weak making these not as stable as some other more standard tripods. These are a good choice for compact carry or a back up. The biggest down side to this tripod is the extra cost for the novelty of design.

Greatest tripod I have ever used

I have been using this tripod, with a Kirk BH-1 ballhead, for past few months now and am completely satisfied with it. It takes seconds to set up and take down, the best leg locking system I have ever seen. I take it backpacking, hiking and even use it for portrait photography. I highly recommend this tripod.

Best tripod ever!

This tripod with the neotec leg system is the best tripod you could ever use for hiking. It is just what I was looking for. You literally just pull the legs out to whatever length you need and they lock there. To collapse them, you just push a button and push them in. SOOO nice! No levers, or twist locks to deal with. I will NEVER go back to the old way. I hope this tripod lasts forever.
