Good Extension

There are times when you just want to get your speedlight off the camera and up a little higher than a Manfrotto Baby Stand allows. That's where this extension comes in handy. The C stand itself is one handy piece of equipment. It folds small enough to carry the base in a briefcase. It's compact, easy to carry, and convenient for those times when you want a light piece of equipment to hold that LED light or speedlight. Yes, I would recommend it for light duty work. I have a Westcott Eyelighter that I use on the baby stand with the extension and I have several LED lights that I use with these stands and extensions. This stand is not sturdy enough for a monoblock but it is great for speedlights or LED lights. I have 5 of them (C stand and extensions) and I use them all.
