Haven't had opportunity to take it out and about yet but initial thoughts are that it will be a bit cumbersome setting it up out in the world. Legs are tight and not the easiest to get in position and prefer snap leg locks over twist lock on this tripod. Size and weight are good for intended purpose.

Solid, sturdy, reliable. Folds down short enough to fit into a small everyday backpack. It might be ?light? relative to other good sturdy tripods, but it?s ?heavy? relative to the $20 junk I?m replacing.

It?s a little funky to get the legs back up with how stiff they are. I think they?re adjustable thankfully. As a whole it?s a really nice tripod!

I love how easily it folds out I just wish it were easier to take the tripod mount out. Other than that there are no issues. I would recommend to a friend

I'm impressed by the quality, weight and compactness for the price. I went with a known tripod brand to avoid any surprises and I think it was a good call. Overall very pleased.

Got the tripod and love how compact it is. It’s my first “twist” leg tripod and I was a little hesitant about how easy/hard the legs would retract but I ended up liking it more than the ones with latches. It’s possible to grip and loosen up all the segments at once with one hand when you’re expanding it. My only regret is I wish I would’ve paid extra for the carbon fiber version. It’s light and reasonable weight for what it is, but it’d be nice if it was lighter.

My wife and I can both be clutzy around stands. We both tripped over the legs on this one and felt that they were a little flimsy. It is light and travel ready, and probably a good starter tripod for travellers. Mounting our Olympus M5 was pretty straight forward. It took some time to get used to the tension required on the ball joint. However, we're trading this one in for the next Manfrotto tripod 'up'.

Purchased mine at a visit to the ADORAMA store, never looked back. It holds my Nikon D4 with 70-200 f2.8 with no problems. This tripod bolds small enough to fit inside my suitcase when needed. Excellent to use anytime, still using my 055 Aluminum.

I'm impressed with the rigidity when fully extended. I was looking for something that would fold up compactly, and this one is perfect.

I got this to give me something smaller to use when my larger Manfrotto 055XB tripod is not needed. I shoot with a Canon 5D MIII and Canon EOS M3, this tripod seems sturdy enough for both. ONLY issue I have is with the Arca Swiss plate and head. The set screw that holds the clamp down is a bit high and prevents easy sliding of the plate. Other than that, this is a pretty good tripod for its price range.
