Well built and quite versatile. I placed 2 camera bodies and 6 lenses plus a teleconverter in storage area! Easy to remove the packed storage section so hubby could use it to travel for a week with no checked luggage.

Carrying a lot of heavy gear through airports is no fun. As a nature photographer having an aching back from wrestling with an overloaded backpack all day puts a damper on your creativity, not to mention your drive to get out and shoot. An overstuffed backpack tends to swallow up photo equipment and you end up with a disorganized mess. Manfrottos Spin 55 keeps gear organized and takes the weight off my shoulder while traveling. Also I breeze through airports with this case due to the double wheeled casters. As a taller individual I appreciate the longer handle that makes pulling this case around much easier. Not only does it keep gear organized, but it swallows a sizeable collection of lenses, full frame bodies and other gear with ease. I particularly love the dedicated pocket for a laptop and the quick access pocket for grabbing a camera without having to open the main compartment just to grab a couple of quick pics. Plane friendly size makes stowing the bag on the plane easy. Construction seems to be durable and the TSA friendly locks on the zipper allow me relax while traveling without worrying about the case being opened without my notice.

I love that you can quickly pull out a camera without opening the main compartment but that’s where the positives end. Given how lightweight this is I wasn’t expecting the best parts and build, but it’s very cheaply made. Loaded w/ my basic travel kit; 2 mirrorless FF bodies, 3 small primes, portable lighting package, 15” MBP, drone, misc accs. it rolled smoothly but toppled much more easily than Pelican and ThinkTank rollers, and isn’t anywhere near as solid. Wheels are quiet and smooth but seem likely to fail over imperfect surfaces. I thought the rigid exterior would be better than TT’s ballistic nylon for transferring impacts but its easily scuffed and pliable. Sliding handle stuck and I had to unzip the liner to reset the mechanism. Security isn’t good due the lack of an attached cable (thief will roll out with it rather than open up and go through it). This may be good for someone who babies their luggage and travels only to low-theft urban destinations.

This bag is just the right size to carry all my gear for headshot photography. I can carry all 4 of my headshot lights, their associated gear, such as lightstands, cable and power cords.
