After owning another cheaper version of this quick release which broke and almost dropped the camera in the middle of a wedding I decided to buy the original Manfrotto, all I can say is you can never go wrong with any Manfrotto product and this definitely lives up to their standard. It also came as a pair, so definitely worth it for the price. Highly recommended.

Love these! Have them on my gimbal, tripods, and light stands. Having it on my Ronin S is especially beneficial since I don’t need to rebalance the gimbal every time I pull the camera off. 10/10 would recommend.

This was exactly what I needed! I bought a second-hand, older tripod from an estate type sale. It had a fluid head, but no quick release plate. I am an amateur photographer who is still learning about all the gear I need. I researched all about the RC2 and quick release plates for my Nikon camera, and found that this Manfrotto style fit the bill! It is a great value for the quality of the fitting, and the convenience of attaching my camera quickly to the tripod. It has a nice, sturdy feel to the mechanisms that lock in place, which gives me the confidence that my camera is safe while I concentrate on taking nice photos! Fast delivery was a plus. I didn't pay extra for faster delivery, just standard, but I received it as quickly as a 2-3 day shipping! Kudos to Adorama for their quality and service. I love these quick releases! They are so versatile for filming weddings. I can swap my main cam from tripod to gimbal to monopod and back to a gimbal in a matter of seconds. They don’t weigh that much, the versatility out weighs the additional weight. I will only buy manfrotto to ensure the safety of my gear.

I've been using various Manfrotto quick release plates on still and video cameras on tripods, monopods, Fig rigs, Steadicams, cranes, sliders, etc. for years and needed to add one to a gimbal since balancing them usually takes a LONG time. If I use the same camera and lens with the gimbal, then releasing the camera for other mounts but leaving the base on the gimbal means when I return the camera to the gimbal the balance is almost immediate. A HUGE time saver for switching from a gimbal for slower motions and a Fig rig for faster motions.

Manfrotto RC2 compact rapid Connect Adapter + 200PL-14 Plate worked great to turn my older bogen manfrotto tripod head into a quick release system by screwing it to the existing head using just the camera mount screw. Very secure and Such a simple and inexpensive solution!

Having two tripods, each from a different brand (Manfrotto and Slik), I stripped my camera's tripod mount after nearly 3 years of daily swapouts. I mounted this adapter atop the Slik ball head, and now the Manfrotto clip never has to leave my camera. It's essentially like having two Manfrotto ballheads. The entire adapter is rock solid. Good machining and affordable.

I actually have two sets. The first set I keep on the bottom of the camera and on the Newton flash bracket so I can quickly disconnect it. The second set I keep on the bottom of the bracket and on top of the tripod for the same reason quick disconnect. Very stable have a lock lever, so you can't accidentally move the lever so it won't fall off. The new compact rapid connector is for a new backup Flash bracket.

I purchased this item to mount my new Evolve AD200 from a tip I saw online. It Works Perfectly and with a much lower profile when your not using a Bowens mount modifier. Easy on and Off of the AD200, very safe in fairly high winds. I shoot mostly on windy beaches. Love it.
