An excellent product.
As you would expect from Manfrotto, this is a top quality product. I have a collection of flash brackets, but this one is in a class by itself. If this product has a fault, then it is definitely the price. It is a bit over priced, but that said, I will be purchasing another one.

Does the job, but some flaws
I bought this because when I use my flashes, they often have modifiers attached to them, and I deploy them so that the flash is parallel to the floor (to illuminate a table top display). This means that there is a lot of weight hanging out to the side of the light stand. I had been using the very high quality Novoflex flash clamp, but I had to tighten the set screw very tightly. I did not like the idea that the only thing supporting my flash was the pressure of that set screw against the internal ball. The Mannfroto tilthead is much sturdier and holds my flash with its extended modifier at right angles easily. But there are two minor flaws. 1. The clamp that is supposed to attach the tiltstand to the light stand does not close when placed on a standard brass 1/4 x 20 fitting that is commonly found on the top of lightstands. The tilthead goes over the brass fitting, but you cannot tighten it. It won't come off unless you release the clamp, but it is not tight, so the flash can swivel around. This is not a big problem because I work indoors with no wind, but outdoors any wind would move the flash. 2. The flash cannot be attached firmly to the tiltstand head. I have a standard flash mount and it does indeed fit into the tiltstand head. When you tighten the knurled knob, the flash is secure, but it wobbles. Again, not a problem because I work indoors. Even outdoors with wind, the slight movement of the flash will not affect the lighting.

Very secure shoe mount and easy to set up
Love this thing! It's very easy to attach your flash and quickly secure it. The thing is sturdy and holds up a lot of weight as I use MagMod modifiers on my flash. I'm a big fan of this and am buying another.
If you are looking for a good universal shoe mount that is strong, secure, super fast to set up, and can hold an umbrella,this thing is for you.

most secure shoe mount!
I have two Manfrotto nano pole stands with the snap tilt heads. I kept moving the heads to my other stands when needed so decided to buy two more so I can always have them on my light stands. I don't trust the shoe locking mechanisms on some of my flashes. These snap tilt heads have a collar that fits snugly so I don't fear the flash flying off.

Nice light Hot Shoe Stand
I needed a hot shoe stand for my speedlight. I had already purchased a Manfrotto tripod and love it. So decided to try this hot shoe stand and clamp. Working well for my photography practice.

The best stand adapter for speedlight flashes
I've used a number of different flash mounting adapters over the years and this is by far the best quality one and nicest to use. The biggest problem with all the others is the little knob for tightening / loosening the flash foot which often didn't seem tight enough but then was hard to get to loosen. This adapter has a large, knurled, rubber ring that goes around the entire foot of the adapter making it very easy to tighten and loosen it, and because it shifts up when tightening it also acts to keep the flash from sliding forward or backwards out of the shoe.
The way it attaches to a stand is also really nice, it's quick and easy to get on and off and holds securely. Though I do have a minor complaint here in that the locking tab sticks out when it's on a stand, which worries me that it could get snagged on something and come loose. I don't think this would be a very likely thing to happen but I'm kind of OCD like that.
This adapter might cost a little more than others but it's worth it!
