Keeps Scope Tight

Bought as a solution to my spotting scope loosening too frequently. I was tired of removing the scope from the tripod and tightening it after just a few minutes of use. This was the perfect solution for me. Now everything stays tight even with frequent tripod moves during bird watching and digiscoping. This was the perfect solution for me. Now everything stays tight even with frequent tripod moves during bird watching and digiscoping. The anti-twist package comes with a Manfrotto quick release plate.

This adapter plate has been designed specifically to eliminate unwanted rotation of the Spotting Scope on the Video Head during use. Its universal design means it can be used to mount All Makes of Spotting Scopes, no matter what their foot shape (Square, Rectangular, Trapezium) on any Manfrotto-Manfrotto two way head (such as models 3130 / 700RC2 / 390RC2 ).

The adapter is made from machine-tooled aluminum with a black anodized finish. In addition to the standard 1/4" screw , it has two screws to to lock the spotting scope securely in position. The end of the screw is covered by a rubber cup to avoid scratching the surface of the spotting scope foot.
