Works well but not perfect

I use this on a corresponding 7" Monitor, also Marshall branded, taking video of my son's youth football games. The coaches use the video as training aids and like being able to go back and watch the games with my son. The hood is fairly deep so I don't always need the bottom piece to have a glare free screen. Unfortunately it's the attachment mechanism that is the products weak point. It's velcro and the soft side is a strip that has to be attached by the user to the monitor. I have no idea how long this will last before it begins to separate from the monitor housing. After obtaining a similar type product for a flip out camcorder LCD screen from Vello which also uses velcro, but keeps everything on the hood itself. The only other negative is the hood isn't an exact fit for the monitor housing. Disappointing when using matching branded items. Even with those negatives overall it does what it is supposed to and I am very happy with it's performance. Amateur
