Review Summary

In manual or auto mode, the flash is "faily" good. 1/3 stop off at the 10 ft distance. Adjustable on the fly, via "wheel" on back. HOWEVER, TTL very poor, foot made of plastic (SB800 is metal). ANY upgrade in the foot to meet any NEW Nikon specification will cost you money, $50-75 more AND remote function is poor. If a D2X, D2H or D200 owner..... better take a look at the Nikon SB800! You have been warned. Do your due diligence and read the disclaimner be Will Crocket! Bogen is a sponsor, so we have BIAS here!
