Used Moment Tele 58mm Lens

I bought the Moment 58mm T-Series because I wanted something that would give the iPhone a more intentional camera feel, especially for still photography. So far I'm genuinely impressed. The lens gives a noticeably different look compared with the native iPhone camera: better subject separation, a more compressed perspective, and a less "phone-like" feel in the images. It makes me slow down a little, which is a good thing. The optical quality has been better than I expected. Used carefully, the photos have real character and enough sharpness to make the lens feel worthwhile rather than just a gimmick. I'm especially interested in using it for portraits, details, street scenes, and those situations where the normal iPhone lens feels too wide or too clinical. The obvious trade-off is size and weight. With this mounted, the phone is no longer really pocketable. It becomes a small camera setup rather than a phone you casually slip into a pocket. That's not necessarily a problem, but it is worth knowing before buying. For me, I see it as part of a few different setups: iPhone with the Leica app for the simple pocketable option; iPhone plus Fjorden grip when I want better handling; and then iPhone, Fjorden grip and the Moment 58mm when I want to be more deliberate. I may also add filters later for an even more controlled still-photo setup. Overall, I'm very happy with it. It is not something I would leave on the phone all day, but when I choose to use it, it gives the iPhone a much more interesting photographic character. For the right person, that's exactly the point.

It took me a little while to figure out that I really had to have the Moment app to use these lenses. Once I did, I found that the telephoto lens provides a touch more clarity for distant objects than does zooming in with the phone itself. It's nothing like a high quality lens with a DSLR or mirrorless, but it does provide a bit of an upgrade.

Finally got out and shot some with this new 58mm Lens. The results were noticeably better and really amazing over the native iPhone lens. The color rendering was really bright and nice bokeh on the distant shots.

Honestly, I didn't know what to expect when I took this out of the package the first time, but I'm so impressed at the image you get out of this HUGE lens. Seriously, I had the first 58mm lens for 8 years I think, so unpacking this was a shock. It's massive! But it create great blurry backgrounds on your phone. So great.

The Moment Tele 58mm Mobile Lens is easily one of the best upgrades I've added to my mobile photography setup. Personally, I use this lens on an iPhone 17 Pro mainly for filming, and I have to say, it's incredible. The background blur it provides is on another level, not to mention the textures and overall image quality. If you're into cinematic shooting in Log like I am, I totally recommend this product.

I just I've been using this for the last few weeks already amazed. Instead of carrying around my bulky older 35 mm camera. I use lenses like this 58 mm it snapped on or really rotate someone without too much hassle. This stays on firmly and takes great pics

Living the dad life made it inconvenient to grab my dedicated camera to carry around for photos. The 58mm with my iPhone 17 pro combo really helped me fall in the middle ground of just my phone and my Fuji. And honestly, coupled with the Moment Pro Camera II, I get an experience I really enjoy.

I'm using this lens with my iPhone 17 Pro Max. It works best with the 24 mm lens. Although it technically also works with the 100 mm lens, I found that the resulting image is too soft, giving the impression that it's out of focus. But mated to the 24 mm lens, this lens produces very crisp results with natural bokeh that IMO beats the software-simulated 48 mm focal length with the 24 mm lens.
