Love the computer so far. Haven't had a chance to do any gaming on it yet but its extremely fast and the thermals seem great. Build quality seems solid and its very slim and lightweight.

I had this laptop shipped to Oklahoma, then had a family member send it to me overseas (I'm in the Armed Services and not many websites ship to APO very quickly). I got it in a little over a week! This laptop is the thinnest, lightest, fastest laptop I have ever owned! I have owned several Alienware Laptops and this one seems to blow them away on the specs, plus it weighs less than half as much as they did. It has the coolest keyboard lighting functionality where lights skip across the keyboard from left to right, vise-versa, then outside in, and inside out. The screen is huge and seems more like a 17" monitor because of how small the frame is around it! Although, a few reviews complained about the sound - I believe it's much better than most laptops I have owned in the past (as long as you don't turn up the volume to max, of course..) The fan is not loud at all, unless you are really running the CPU up, (gaming hardcore or running several big programs at once). Even then, I can't hear it over my headset.. The professional look of the machine is sick! I feel like I'm a true businessman when I pull it out at meetings. The mousepad is much larger than what I am accustomed to, but as long as I keep my thumbs up and don't rest them it doesn't seem to be an issue! Plus they did a good job designing it inset to the laptop's surface, so you can easily feel when your getting close to touching it. As nearly all thin laptops don't come with a CD/DVD drive, this one does not as well! But with the way of technology getting smaller and lighter, just realize it's time to start installing all software via the internet and/or USB drive! I would also say that this laptop has the best battery life for a fast gaming machine! So, if you are looking for a light, professional, thin machine that will also handle any new game on the market choose this laptop - you will not be disappointed!

runs smoothly, no problem while editing 4k videos also 5k. is a power machine. my last computer was a Dell XPS 15 and it doesn't compare with this workhorse.

I am a designer who needs a lot of power for demanding software, prefer windows over MacOs and is an avid gamer. So, this product was great for me! I have been enjoying it so far. It is also ultra portable, and quite silent when I don't use demanding software (gaming or rendering videos). Also, Ive seen some reviews about build quality, creaking and flexing. But, I have not encountered those issues.

This laptop is the perfect combination of high end performance, lightweight design, and battery life. On top of all of that, it's a gaming laptop that doesn't look ridiculous and has a refined, mature look to it. The biggest competitor in my eyes would be the new line of razer blades that came out, but they are more expensive with identical specs and only a 60hz monitor, making this the obvious choice if you have the money for it.

I had some issue with the screen of the first unit. After I return it to Adorama, the laptop was backordered so I had to wait a few weeks. However I finally got the second unit. The second unit's screen is much better. Can't wait to play some GTA V!

The laptop is wonderfully made with a minimalistic, simple design and gold trim. The laptop is well made and the screen is amazing. The keyboard is nice and sturdy and the RGB key lighting is great. It runs smoothly and fast, I definitely am happy with it.

Runs Witcher 3 on high settings and at a silky smooth frame rate made even better by the 144hz monito. There is not a game this laptop cannot handle. The triple fans keeps this machine running cool even at high load. The keyboard is nice to type on and has nice and wide keys. The RGB backlighting is customizable to high degree. I have built my own computers for over 10 years and this an impressive machine in such a small form factor. Also I love the look, Most of the time Gaming laptops are bulky and have multiple angles on every surface, and usually look like a stealth fighter ready for take off. This laptop breaks the mold and has a minimalist sleek design with gold accents. This is the perfect gaming laptop for portability and performance that matches desktop performance. I recommend highly.
