The Nikon NIKKOR Z 400mm f/2.8 TC VR S Lens is the ultimate telephoto lens for sports, wildlife, and action photographers. It features a f/2.8 aperture, 400mm reach with option to increase to 560mm, and a virtually silent autofocus. Nikon has offered all of this in a lightweight built designed for hard work and durability.Built In Teleconverter.
The NIKKOR 400mm lens comes with a game-changing build-in 1.4x teleconverter. This allows you to extend the lens’ reach to 560mm while maintaining excellent resolution and no loss of focus points.
Anti-Glare Protection.
The NIKKOR 400mm lens features the highest backlight tolerance in NIKKOR history. Its Meso Amorphous Coat limits incident light from virtually any direction. This is coupled with an ARNEO Coat which provides added protection against vertical incident light.
Ground Breaking Autofocus.
This lens’ all-new Silky Swift VCM2 Autofocus is expected to achieve higher speed and accuracy with a quieter operation than previous models. You can expect autofocus functions to be almost completely silent. Nikon also promises reduced vibration reduction (VR), meaning peak image stabilization technology to minimize blur caused by camera shake. It achieves up to 5.5 stops of compensation.
Ergonomic Control.
The lens has customizable Fn buttons, a new Fn ring, and Memory Set button for recalling focus position, control ring, manual focus ring and teleconverter switch. These intuitive controls make for an easy transition to your new lens. This way, you can focus on what matters — your subject.
