Good value for price. Not cheap-looking.

I am pleased with it., for what it is. It is not meant to be robust and heavy duty, but light and convenient. It is a bit flimsy at full extension, as one might expect, but at reasonable elevations ( 24 in / 60 cm) it's pretty steady. Overall fit and finish is good: no excuses necessary. It is my go-to travel tripod.

nikon tripod

This little guy is great, light weight and easy to extend when needed. Sturdy when taking photos and all the knobs are close enough to pivot the camera when needed.

Good value for the price.

This tripod is light-weight and compact and is exactly what I was looking for. I needed something easily transportable that would work on uneven terrain because I do a lot of photography in the outdoors. Works great for indoors too.

Used for my Nikon for D3300

Purchased for use with my Nikon D3300- tripod is not sturdy enough to keep camera straight- camera is too heavy.

Light, but gets the job done

When I first opened the package and see the tripod, I almost burst out laughing, as it appears very light and quite flimsy. Taking it on a day out has changed my opinion somewhat. Yes, its lightweight means that it is inheritantly wobbly, but it's really not bad. I use a SONY a77, which isn't a light body to start, but even when it's paired with a Minolta 70-210, the "Small beercan", which has metal body, it stands OK! I wished that the handle could be a little longer, but hey, it's a 20$ tripod.

Lightweight and Sturdy

Great product for the money. I am new to photography and holding on to a camera for long periods of time and holding it still was very difficult. I love it!!!! Thanks

Great quality at an affordable price.

I was a bit skeptical of a tripod in this price range. The components are much better than I expected. This tripod is compact, light, durable and works well. Everything you'd expect from a name brand product except the price. Good job Nikon for making it and Adorama for selling it.

great tripod for traveling light

Light weight and compact. Just what I was looking for. Quick set up and sturdy for its size. Takes up very little room in carry-on when traveling. Attached to camera bad with Velcro straps.

Ignore Previous Review (mine)

This will work for a full body DSLR, I just didn't know how to remove the base plate, then screw it into the camera, they reattach ito the tripod. USER IGNORANCE on my part.

Never Mind

Ignore my previous review, it was based on user ignorance. The plate comes off by flipping that little switch on the back and you just screw the plate into the camera and mount. Now that I know that I love this tripod. It's very compact and light wieght.

Not for a Full Body DSLR

I bought this because I needed something very, very small and I read "it works fine with my D5100". However from what I can tell the only way to mount it is by spinning the camera on the mounting screw. That's impractical for a full body camera.

It is exactly what I needed for my P7000

This is my secondary tripod when I travel light with my P7000, My main camera is a Nikon D3S with a Manfrotto 290 Series.
