Worth the coin
Amazing charger. You spent the money on the camera, bought the best glass and battery. Do yourself a favor and buy the proper charger eh.

Quality Charger
This is a great charger and I love that it's backward compatible (with included adapter) for my old Nikon D3/D3s/D2h batteries. It is designed to charge the D5/D4/D4s batteries, which can also be used with the D850 and the D500 if you have the Nikon brand vertical grips.

Solid but expensive.
It’s true. The charger is quick and the batteries are making my camera lightning fast. But $400 for a charger...painful expense. If you don’t need blasts of photos, stick to the traditional battery and save $500.

I'm so much more happy with OEM than with a 3rd party charger
I'm so much more happy with OEM than with a 3rd party charger. Nikon charger fully charges18b batteries for my D500 and D850, my 3rd party one only charge up 98%. I feel better with OEM for the warranty on my gear

Jack of All Trades Battery Charger
Will charge a range of Nikon batteries from the EN-EL4 or 4a as well as the newer EN-EL18 or EN-EL 18a OR EN-EL-18b battery. (PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY BEFORE BUYING)
I invested in this charger to specifically charge EN-EL 18b batteries that power the MB-D17 for the D500, and the MB-D18 for my D850. Both grips use the Nikon BL-5 to adapt the ENEL-18b battery into either grip. Expensive proposition, but the EN-EL18b battery lasts much longer than the standard EN-EL 15 battery that comes with these cameras.
Four stars only because this charger is so WILDLY OVERPRICED. There are serviceable knockoffs to be found for under $ U.S., but I bet my bank on Nikon original equipment for safety and warranty service.

Great buy and charges the legacy batteries as well as the new ones.
