I'm using this Nikon Z6iii and an older AF-S VR 70-200mm f/2.8. Mechanically, it fits as expected and feels solid. But in my initial testing, autofocus is intermittent. I can't figure out what it's dependent on--maybe it needs a good deal of light to focus. (I was testing it indoors in the daytime.) I found that turning the manual focus ring seemed to help get the AF working. I don't fully understand what's happening, but there are other reports online with similar problems with AF and this adapter.

Moved to a Z8 from a d750. Being able to keep my lenses was a huge deciding factor. I've used both my 24-70 and 70-200 with the adaptor so far and the tracking and focus is still tack sharp and fast. You can;t even tell there is an adaptor there besides the bit of extra length and weight.

Works as intended. No problem with the fit or the electronics, and worked perfectly with 2 F mount lenses on the Z. Does not appear to affect AF performance at all.

I recently traded my D5600 for a Z50II. All of my AF-S and AF-P lenses (50, 85, 70-300, 10-20) work well with the adapter. Even the AF-S 18-140 works, but I plan to trade that for the Z version before the next trip. The Z version is much lighter and faster. The adapter balances well in my hand with the old lenses - it's not too long or heavy - but it does look a little funny to see the old lenses on the front of the new camera. Not sleek or cool, but they work. I see no difference in focus speed. Accuracy is better on the new camera because of the mirrorless focus system. The new camera nails eye focus.

I finally could use my two F-mount Nikkors on the Z camera, the adapter fits well between lens and body, and works as expected. Excellent product and well worth the money.

Works like a charm-exactly what I needed. Rather than spend money to buy the same lenses again for a new camera, I put this on and I'm good to go. Easy to add to camera and only adds a couple of inches to the base of the lens.

Older Nikon lenses worked well. Nothing worked on my older Tamron lenses until I did the firmware update on lenses. After that, I have had great results. Seems to be well made and easy to use.

Solidly built and locks the lens in firmly. Reliably passes all the data back and forth between the body and the lenses. Wonderful to be able to use my stable of non-Z lenses without any compromise in sharpness or speed.

A most impressive piece of engineering. I am very pleased that there is no focal factor or loss of light when using any FX format lens. I have some old lenses, so it is expected the auto-focus doesn't work, but all communication occurs.

I would really like to rate the FTZII mount. However, I have yet to receive my Nikon Z9 for which I need so that I can use it with the Nikon glass that I already have. I can give a better review once I have the camera in hand and I am able to use the FTZII.
