Perfect for solar photography, works great with NiSi holder
I used this filter with a NiSi V5 Pro filter holder to photograph the 2017 total eclipse. The photos were fantastic and there were *no problems* with slipping out of the NiSi filter holder.
While it's worth warning others that the Lee filter holder doesn't work well with this filter (see the 1-star and 2-star reviews), it's unfair to this filter to down-rate it, *as the problem is with the holder, not the filter.*
This NiSi filter is NOT "slippery"--it's got a more-polished, smoother surface, which is what you want for optical clarity. I suspect that it says something about any filter that *won't* fall out of a Lee filter holder, TBH, unless those filters have friction strips on the edges.

Pristine Glass
This 10 stop filter is pristine glass. Very high quality and feels solid. Definitely no vignetting with my 12-24 lens. I thought it was a little overkill with 10 stops but I am happy I didn't back out on this one. Can't wait to take this out to more killer landscapes. Highly recommend it with the Nisi Filter system.

well constructed
I use this filter mounted on my S5 Nisi kit with my Nikon 19 mm f4 tilt shitt lens. It works perfectly. No vignettes, no light leakage.
It makes me shoot at lower shutter speeds.

Very disappointed
Very disappointed the ND scratched off in the case as others have had happen much happier with the Lee Proglass filter
