Great Build Quality Lens with great Optics and Wonderful Sunstar Capabilities

After seeing several reviews for this lens I decided to take a chance and add it to my kit for my Lumix Full Frame S5. I?m glad I did. The build quality is excellent as well as the optics. Super sharp at all f-stops. The Sunstar effect at wide apertures is very impressive. Being such a wide angle, manual focusing is so easy. I like the positive click on the f-stop dial giving it smooth, nice feel. The weight is well balanced on my S5, like it was made for it The ability to add a 72mm filter is a nice advantage for my landscape work when I want to use a Polarizer or ND. On some VERY HIGH Contrast areas my RAW files had some Chromatic Aberration but nothing that couldn?t be fixed easily in Post (interesting my JPEG versions did not have it as much, barely there). Obviously this is a fully manual lens so it will slow down your shooting, which for me is not a big deal as I've been a photographer a very long time long before autofocus and auto exposures. Also it's not Weather Sealed so I will be careful in the types of environments I shoot with it. You can't beat the price especially for this type of quality. So overall I am very please with NISI an their first production lens and highly recommend it.
