Like the greater capacity.

I continue to use the original black PS-BLM1 batteries without a problem but I appreciate the higher capacity of these newer batteries.

About Olympus BCM-5 Dedicated Multi-Volt Charger with BLM-5 1600mAh Lithium-Ion Battery for E5 Camera

The BCM-5 is the dedicated lithium-ion battery charger for the BLM-5. It recharges the BLM-5 battery in approx. two and a half hours (at room temperature) and it is included with the Olympus E-5 digital SLR. The BCM-5 is compatible with the international power supply of 100~240V AC.

With an additional BLM-5 you will never miss a shoot caused by an empty battery.Perfect for longer shootings or portrait shooting with the HLD-4. The powerful lithium-ion battery BLM-5 has a capacity of 1620mAh and can be recharged about 500 times (by Olympus measurement).
