The AG-DVC200 digital camera/recorder combines the extended recording time of the DV format with professional picture quality and a host of functions. Designed for a wide array of uses, the camera section of the AG-DVC200 features a 1/2-inch interchangeable bayonet mount lens. Its digital processing and three 410,000-pixel IT CCDs team up to deliver superior picture quality with 800 lines of horizontal resolution, high sensitivity and low smear. The VTR section accepts standard DV cassettes for up to 276 minutes of recording. Equipped with an IEEE1394 Input/Output terminal (i-Link/ Firewire), the AG-DVC200 lets you upload picture and sound data to a PC, or digitally dub onto a DV recorder. This superb digital performance and extended recording capability make the AG-DVC200 especially well suited for weddings, sports and other feature-length events.

DV 276 min. Recording Time Using a standard DV cassette permits the AG-DVC200 to record for a full 276 minutes without changing cassettes. The AG-DVC200 also provides outstanding digital picture quality, plus superb digital audio with either 16-bit, 48-kHz sound or 12-bit, 32-kHz sound.

Equipped with three broadcast-type 1/2-inch 410,000-pixel IT (Interline Transfer) CCDs, the AG-DVC200 provides outstanding picture quality, with 800 lines of horizontal resolution, a S/N ratio of 62 dB, and very low smear.

The industry-standard 1/2-inch bayonet mount readily accommodates the many lenses that are available on the market. For superior ease of use, the AG-DVC200 features automatic white shading correction, which adjusts the settings to match the lens.

The AG-DVC200's CCD with on-chip lens and +36 dB gain-up allows high-quality shooting in lighting all the way down to 0.5 lux. This allows capture of clear images even under dim lighting conditions.

Digital circuitry enables a host of creative image-processing functions, including Black Stretch/Press, Auto Knee, Gamma, Skin Detail, Coring and Color Effect.
