I love this bag! I got it on Kickstarter about 10 years ago and it's held up amazingly. Being able to lash blankets and items outside has been extremely helpful. I used it as my go bag when I was active duty, I travel with it all the time, and it's perfect also for lugging all my supplies for grad school.

This bag's design is one of one. If side access is what you're looking for, this is perfect. Not to mention the most modern sleek, looking back on the market. Dispatch has withstand the elements and tortures I've put it through.

I had the grey Evrryday Backpack v1 for over 9 years. It had an awesome build quality and materials and was durable for travels all over the world. The lifetime warranty is serious as well. They repaired the zipper once and even replaced the whole bag recently. The pockets, zippers, and magnets allows a versatility unlike any other bag I've used.

Absolutely well thought-out rucksack that more than fulfils the requirements of photographers. The high-quality workmanship makes it an absolute pleasure to use. Every detail is well thought out and simply well implemented. There are so many features that make the rucksack extremely versatile. I'm sure I'll enjoy it for a very long time.

This is great for a whole day photo shoot plus extra space for every little accessory and enough for a day to pack around. I love the side access and how accessible everything is.

I've had this bag for over seven years, and it has been my trusty companion through work, weekends, and travel. It served me well until a month ago when the side zipper finally broke. I was quite sad about it, but I'm happy to say that Peak Design truly stands by their lifetime warranty policy. In less than two weeks, I received the new V2 version, which is even better than the original! Thank you, Peak Design, for your amazing service and support!

The compartment is very nice and easy to adjust. One of the best backpack i have ever used. However, the zipper got some issues. Especially the one on the back, don't put too much things inside it create tension for the zipper and it is easy to break like mine. Also, for a backpack it is a bit too heavy.

I own and have tried many different bags from all kinds of manufacturers and Peak Design knocks it out of the park with this one. Everything is well designed and the quality of materials and craftsmanship is top notch. I use this bag as a touring musician and would replace it immediately if lost/stolen.

After a lifetime of purchasing backpacks, I finally found one that is truly remarkable in every way. The adjustable top opening allows room for my tripod, camera, and at least two lenses. The Velcro separators are completely adjustable and padded, so I no longer need to use bulky camera pouches. The stiff back keeps contents from jabbing me while hiking. There is a built-in strap connector that keeps the backpack centered. Forget about backing a plastic tarp-the backpack is water-proof!

I've had this bag since its Kickstarter debut some 8 years ago. It's been with me to business meetings in France, hiked across the alps in Austria & Italy, stood up through the dry of the Serengeti and the volcanic ash of Ngorongoro, the salt & sand of the Dead Sea, the rain across New Zealand, and up into the snow of Aoraki. Throughout, it's been water/weather resistant, held all my essentials, from laptop to survival equipment, camera bodies and lenses enough to shoot weddings and wildlife - often all at once. It's been a school bag, a bike bag, a photography bag, a camping bag, a carry-on. Its organisational system enables retrieving items from any pocket without looking/in the dark, and aside from zippers, this can be done almost silently which has been great for nighttime wildlife photography. Over this time it's developed many scuffs and abrasions, but these were marks of the adventures it endured. Sure the webbing on the back panel foam was wearing through, and the zipper pulls were fraying, but only this past month did its waterproofing let me down. But ever in the spirit of adventure & environmental stewardship, PD came through with a free v2 warranty replacement and will refurbish my old bag to minimize waste (with return shipping covered)! This is a bag for life in every way; in versatility, in social & environmental responsibility, in reliability.

I have the 20L everyday backpack, and at first sight I thought "I should have gotten the 30L". But then I started to use it, what a real surprise. I can fit 2 camera bodies and a heap of lenses and still have space for other kit. The accessibility of top, and both sides, as well as the back tablet or laptop storage makes using the backpack so easy. The small form factor of the 20L makes crowed spaces a breeze, and the security features mean I am not checking all the time! I keep discovering nice things, like the key holder in the side pocket. It is well made, thoughtfully designed and easy to use.

I have been using the backpack for seven years now and can only recommend it in any way. 20l was always enough for me. Many cameras have lived in it over the years, starting with a Konica-Minolta Dynax/Maxxum 5D up to my current Sony Alpha 7Cii with the 20-70mm lens. Next to it is the Tamron 50-400mm and in the lower compartment the Alpha 6000 with the 16-55mm completes my travel equipment. But the best things are the many small pockets in the left and right side covers, where cables, adapters, covers, filters, batteries and memory cards can be stored in large numbers. Even an iPad and MacBook can be stowed away with a little effort. And then there's room for a bottle in the side pocket! Since here are plenty of photos, I leave them out. And I can say: Everything works fine after 7 years!

Got the 20L capacity on Kickstarter launch, very robust and well built, kinda wished the internal was more spacious but there's the 30L for that.

I've used this bag for a few years and had a zipper break. PD sent a replacement bag within a week - that's what I call a lifetime guarantee. As a photojournalist working daily, this bag is my go to for the gear that I bring to assignments. Each assignment can require different gear and the flexibility of the dividers inside the Everyday Backpack make it easy to configure for any photo or lighting gear I put in it. Highly recommend!

A trustworthy bag that has seen through the roughs and rougher. Very durable, water-resistant and packs a lot for a 20L.

Best bag I have ever used since I bought my first one of these bags on Kickstarter. It is extremely durable and I use it for everyday, travel and climbing. It is a very easy to use backpack that can carry my Sony A7IV body, two lenses, and my Mavic mini pro together.

Even though the name itself is an "everyday" backpack, I actually use this more as my go-to travel backpack. I have the 30L version and no airline (International and Domestic) has had a problem with me using this as either my personal item or my carry-on. It fits just fine under a plane seat. Though it depends on how much you pack into the bag, YMMV. I consider myself an over-packer, but after every trip with different configurations and setups, the everyday backpack has never failed me. With its modular dividers, I can easily switch this from my production work backpack to a travel backpack, even as my everyday backpack. The lifetime warranty that this bag has gives me the assurance that I can always count on my peak design products. Love my everyday backpack!

Bought on Kickstarter in 2016 and it has been my daily commute/travel bag since. If I need to replace it, I'll buy another in a heartbeat. I fly about once a month with a carry-on, so my backpack goes under my seat. The 30l is large enough for a spare change of clothes, laptop, book, toilet kit, and compact jacket. The wings hold all the cables and other day to day stuff I need. The external strap system is super useful and seamlessly disappears when you don't need it, but can still carry a bunch of stuff. There are minor signs of wear that you'd expect after a year or two, but this bag is 7 years old and still looks nearly new except for a few specific spots.
